"Blessed are the poor .... (?)

Pay attention to what God says, you have great importance, as long as any indication, he does because he is concerned about our welfare. Sometimes we get calls, sometimes guides us, comforts us some more, is a pleasant word or a rebuke, God speaks through the Bible because He loves us and knows what we need. He always wants our good.
In the Bible there are numerous guidelines on what to do and what not. In Matthew 5 is written that Jesus said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." (V. 3).
But unfortunately it has been misused by many religions to submit to the people. See why:
They say that people should be poor because the poor are closer to God. But if you pay attention, you will see that Jesus does not refer to the poor of pocket, he is referring to the poor in spirit. There are people who are economically poor, but is arrogant or poor or have interest in God. On the other hand, some people are rich economically and easy to heart.
The poor who always needs something. When Jesus used the phrase "poor in spirit", was referring to that we must always have need of him, seek him with all our strength. We should never think that we no longer need God, because when that happens, it means it has led to arrogance. We take care of that need for the presence of God, love him more.
It's like a marriage. When the newly married couple is having a huge thirst to please the other in detail, helping, loving. Over time, most, lose the taste, feels he knows too the other and do things in any way, do not change, this marriage is doomed. That happens to many people, who after a while, you lose the pleasure of seeking God, that's spiritual ruin.
Love must be renewed. To God we give the first place, the place it deserves. If we consider when we do 'important', and do things with pleasure, without excuses, boredom or fatigue, we should be so with God. Do not make things any way.

The true measure of greatness of a man is how he treats those who can not benefit at all.
