The pain of separation is one of the worst pain anyone can feel.
Of all the stories about Jesus'stay on this Earth, one describes the Lord felt the pain, when he prayed in Gethsemane.
The Bible states that at that time was so distressed, to the point of declaring, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death (...) My Father, if possible, this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but like you. "(Matthew 26:38-39)
Did he fear going to the Cross?, "lamented the pain he would feel the sacrifice?
No. In this passage has been misinterpreted.
Jesus never felt worried, why why now?
Because I knew from that moment on, He would be separated from God.
Why?
Because in that garden he began receiving the sin of all mankind to take and when he died, breaking the effect of sin and then resurrected and thus give the opportunity to forgive those who repent sincerely.
Sin causes separation.
A more sins, the more separation and more suffering, not because God punished.
The separation of God leaves us at the expense of all evil and here come the problems and pains of all kinds.
Dear reader, I understand the following: the root of their suffering is what you are separate from God.
Proof of this is that there are those who physically or in the material has everything and still does not enjoy lasting peace or happiness, because without that his soul is crying out to be close to God.
Close to the supermarket, everything did not lack anything and have your coat.
"You'll come back to give me life, and again I rise from the depths of the earth. Increase my greatness, and return to console me. "
Psalm 71:20-21
